We are excited to announce the open call for speakers and facilitators at the Young Scientists Platform on DRR Focus day event at the Understanding Risk conference in Istanbul this May.

This is a great opportunity for you to share your experiences on DRR with other young scientists, practitioners and experts in thematic areas such as risk modelling, mapping and assessment, governance, planning, risk perception and communication, open data and ICT tools, early warning systems, the use of local and indigenous knowledge and disaster response.Applications will close on the 27th of March. Unfortunately no funding can be provided to selected speakers or facilitators but a formal letter of support can be arranged to help you seek funding through your own network.
