On April 15, 2025, the Water Youth Network President moderated the session on SDG14: “Youth for Sustainable Oceans – Mobilization and Actions” during the ECOSOC Youth Forum, held at United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Our President, Maitreyi Koduganti, moderated the session, which brought together powerful youth voices tackling the most urgent threats to our oceans  from coral bleaching and acidification to overfishing and pollution. With only five years left to meet the SDGs, the discussion focused on youth-led solutions, success stories in marine conservation, and actionable recommendations for the 2025 UN Ocean Conference and High-Level Political Forum (HLPF).
