Roles Description:
– Partnerships Coordinator: Facilitates and nurtures partnerships with organizations, institutions, and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support for the Water Youth Network’s mission.
– Water Governance Co-Coordinator: Leads efforts to promote transparent, inclusive, and effective governance frameworks for water management, advocating for youth involvement and representation.
– WASH Coordinator: Drives initiatives related to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), including organizing events, developing resources, and fostering collaboration among young professionals in this field.
– IWRM (Integrated Water Resources Management) Coordinator: Focuses on integrated approaches to water management, coordinating projects and activities that promote holistic and sustainable solutions for water resources management.
Working Groups Description:
- Partnerships Working Group: The Partnerships Working Group focuses on forging strategic collaborations with organizations, institutions, and stakeholders to amplify the impact of youth-led initiatives in the water sector. Through networking, outreach, and joint initiatives, this group cultivates meaningful partnerships to advance sustainable water management and achieve shared goals globally.
- WASH Working Group: The Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Working Group is dedicated to promoting access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene for all. Comprising passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds, this group spearheads projects, campaigns, and advocacy efforts aimed at addressing WASH challenges worldwide, with a focus on innovative solutions, community engagement, and policy advocacy.
- IWRM (Integrated Water Resources Management) Working Group: The Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Working Group aims to foster holistic and sustainable approaches to water management. By promoting the integration of social, economic, and environmental considerations, this group seeks to address the complex challenges of water resources management through research, capacity building, and policy development, aiming to ensure equitable and resilient water systems for present and future generations.
- Water Governance Working Group: The Water Governance Working Group is committed to advancing transparent, inclusive, and effective governance frameworks for water management. Through research, advocacy, and capacity-building activities, this group advocates for youth participation in decision-making processes, promotes accountability and integrity in water governance, and works towards enhancing the resilience and sustainability of water systems globally.
