WYN members’ leadership at SWWW19

The Water Youth Network is made up of enthusiastic, hardworking, talented young professionals and students, a group who enjoy learning and jumping on opportunities to represent youth in the water sector. This has earned us many exciting positions and our members will be very involved during the Stockholm World Water Week 2019 (SWWW19). One of our members, who is currently pursuing a masters degree in water governance and who will be involved at SWWW19 as a facilitator and presenter, is Maitreyi Koduganti Venkata.

“This is the first time I am speaking at a session, presenting the work I have been involved in for the last 4 years! This is not only an opportunity for me to showcase what I have done, but also a space to understand, learn, and contribute to the rich discussions around serious issues, like drought,” she says.

Maitreyi Koduganti is one of the WYN members who will be at SWWW19

Maitreyi, like all the other Water Youth Network members, is excited about sharing youth expertise, inspiration, and perspectives during the greatest water conference in the world. She applauds SIWI’s commitment to involving youth at the SWWW19.

“It is a platform that embraces the involvement of youth into the decision-making process!”

As young professionals and leaders, we are excited to make new connections and would love to talk to you! Besides sessions we are co-convening, side events, and sessions in the Young Professionals booth, we are also involved in a number of other sessions. Check out this list of sessions where WYN members are presenting, moderating, facilitating, and discussing and come talk to us!
