We are excited to inform you that the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) has welcomed Water Youth Network (WYN) as one of the Key Collaborating Partners for the Stockholm World Water Week (SWWW) 2019.
What does this mean? We are glad you asked!
SWWW is an annual, week-long event focused on tackling the world’s water issues, taking place from August 25-30th, 2019, in Stockholm. This year, the theme of the conference is “Water for Society: including all.” Inclusion is central to the WYN mission and we believe sustainable water solutions are best reached when everyone is included. SWWW19 provides us with a great opportunity to continue to promote inclusive work in the water sector by empowering young leaders to create and advance water sector solutions.

As a key collaborating partner of SWWW19, WYN will advise on and support the content and overall set-up of SWWW19 to help increase participation, expand outreach, and inspire conversations at the event and most importantly bring the youth perspective to the table.
The WYN is the first youth-led organization to be made a key collaborating partner. We are planning to have many new and interactive events to engage youth in pressing global water issues.
WYN led activities at SWWW already last year–we are excited to get back to it!
SIWI noted that in 2018, 3,300 experts, practitioners, decision-makers, business innovators and young professionals from all disciplines in the water sector, attended and participated in many activities including seminars, side events, debates and plenary sessions.
